Tawang, a town famous for its Monastery which is one of the important religious centres of Tibetian Buddhism and its panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas into Bhutan in the west and Tibet on the North. /in older times this used to be a important town due to its proximity to Tibet and Bhutan.
