Experience the wondrous beauty of the Himalayas on this high altitude bike ride through Srinagar - Leh & Ladakh – Manali. Tackle some of the most incredible driving roads in the world, with India Motorbike Tours so you can witness the awe inspiring mountains in all their glory.

This tour is a chance for you to peer into the lives of the people indigenous to the mountains. It is a chance to integrate yourself, even if it is just for a moment, into the culture of the surreal mountains and the quint villages scattered along the way.

The spirituality of the journey however is secondary to the sheer excitement of it. The path you forge through the mountains will be challenging and to stand up to the challenge, you will need the adrenaline that will be coursing through the veins in those situations. So, head into the mountains and see if you can look danger in the eye and come out on top.

Along the way you will visit a few key milestones. You will experience the Kashmir capital of Srinagar, famed for its breath-taking landscapes and mouth-watering cuisine, before moving on towards the daunting yet hauntingly beautiful mountains and valleys of Ladakh.

Day 01: Arrive at Srinagar – Sonamarg (The gateway of High Mountains & Passes) 

Morning arrive at Srinagar airport, where you will meet and greet with our local driver followed by transfer to Sonamarg (approx 80 kms). After refreshment it’s time to gather at hotel lobby for a brief introduction about the upcoming epic adventure journey.

Post briefing it is now time to get familiarized with your Machine (The Royal Enfield) as well as mountain traffic. After test ride we will return back to hotel. Time free to enjoy the scenic beauty of Sonamarg.

Day 02: Sonamarg – Zoji la – Kargil (Approx 205 Kms/05 – 06 Hrs)

On day 02 ride begin from Sonamarg towards Kargil en route climb over Zoji la pass (3550m) above the sea level, Post steep descend tea break at Drass (02nd Coldest Inhabited place in the world).  Later continue to Kargil followed by Kargil war memorial. This memorial is dedicated to the martyred soldiers who gave their lives for our tomorrow. After visit, our ride continues to Kargil.

Day 03: Kargil – Sangam – Magnetic Hill – Leh (Approx 220 Kms/05-06 Hrs)

After breakfast at hotel, we will move towards Leh (Capital city of Ladakh), en route stop at confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers, Magnetic hill & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, before reaching at Leh. We will cross over picturesque mountain passes of Namikla pass (3718m) above the sea level & Fotula pass (4109m) above the sea level.

Day 04: Leh – Khardung la – Nubra Valley (Approx 130 Kms/05 – 06 Hrs)

After breakfast ride beginning from Leh to Nubra Valley via world highest motorable pass Khardung la (5602m). After enjoying photography at Khardung la, we will start our ride towards Nubra valley (The land of Mongolian camels). On arrival check-in at the camp. Post refreshment proceed to the desert, where you can experience the double-

humped camel ride or spend quality time in the heart of cold desert.

Highest Elevation of the Trip: (18,380 ft. Khardung la) above sea level 

Overnight at: Deluxe Camp / Meals: Dinner & Breakfast

Day 05: Ride to Turtuk (last village of India before L. O. C) (approx 80 Kms/03 Hrs ride)

After breakfast ride to Turtuk, known as the village divided by two country borders. This picturesque village is the last major settlement of India before the Line of Control beyond which lies Pak occupied Kashmir. Turtuk was under Pakistan's control until the 1971 Indo-Pak war where it came under Indian governance. After visiting this hamlet return back to Nubra Valley.

Day 06: Nubra – Diskit – Shyok – Pangong Lake (approx 180 kms/05-06 Hrs ride)

After breakfast proceed towards Pangong lake, en route visit the biggest statue of Buddha at Diskit. Today’s ride will be challenging with panoramic view of Himalayan high mountains, en route stop at the bank of Shyok river for photography, afternoon reach at Pangong camp-site. Post refreshment, fell free to ride to the world famous Pangong lake located on the altitude of 14300 ft. from sea level, shared by two countries India & China.

Overnight at: Standard Camp / Meals: Dinner & Breakfast

Day 07: Pangong – Chang la – Leh (Approx 154 Kms/05-06 Hrs)

Post breakfast ride towards Leh via worlds 02nd highest motorable pass, Changla Pass (5360m) above sea level, en route Thiksey monastery. On arrival check-in to hotel.

Day 08: Leh - Taglang la – Pang – Sarchu (Approx 255 Kms/ 07 – 08 Hrs)

After breakfast ride from Leh to Sarchu, via world 03rd highest motorable pass (Taglang la 5359m). After photo stop downhill ride and have a stop for tea at Debring. After refreshment continue ride to Sarchu, stop at Pang for Himalayan local bite. On arrival check-in at camp.

Overnight at: Camp / Meals: Dinner & Breakfast

Day 09: Sarchu – Jispa – Tandi (Approx 120 Kms / 05 – 06 Hrs)

After breakfast start ride from Sarchu to Sarchu, over the giant Baralachala Pass (4850m), en-route crossing high altitude picturesque villages Darcha & Jispa. On arrival check in the wooden hut, Free for breath-taking photography surrounding your campsite.

Day 10: Tandi – Rohtang Pass – Manali (Approx 110 Kms/05 – 06 Hrs)

On day 10 we head towards Manali climbing over Rohtang Pass (3978 meters). This would really turn out to be challenging as the road you will ride through are really adventurous and the weather conditions are also uncertain. Further pass through the Kullu Valley mountains capped with snow all around. Enjoy mountain lunch of steamed momos and thukpa. Thukpa is a very famous traditional Himalayan soup which is made by mixing meat and vegetables.

Day 11: Manali – Delhi via overnight Volvo Bus

Morning check out from hotel, free for stroll down on the mall. Afternoon transfers to Volvo bus stand to catch bus towards Delhi.
